ever know one of those songs where you hear it over and over and love it and then one day it actually really means something to you and it best describes how you feel that very moment? probably one of the best case senarioes ever. anyways, the song is called "no time for you" by a band called no warning. crap i love the song and tonight i actually made an effort to find lyrics to the song and i found them and they fit exactly how i feel. i don't have enough balls to actually say this to tuls' face, so livejournal will have to do. so yeah, this one's for you tuls!

yes indeed i think this is a first for me. for the the first time ever, i had a friend say 'so and so says that whatshername says you two dated'. or something to that effect. make sense? basically this girl i knew in high school was talking with my best friend's sister and somehow my name got brought up. we'll name this attention-begging girl "tuls"... basically tuls says we dated for three years from grade 8 till grade 10. k, ew. what the flip?! i mean, i was nice to her in high school and no one else was, so maybe she's mixed up? but seriously, don't drag me into your bull**** of a life. i don't know where to begin with all the made-up, attention-begging stories tuls has come up with. and now your dragging my name into one of them? screw you! seriously. gah, its stupid. i love how a person can't let go of something that happened nearly TEN (10) years ago. i should post this on myspace cuz she's on myspace and she'll probably read this... but i'm not gonna beg for attention. just the attention i'll get from this haha? ok good-night.

where do people find the motivation to do a job that a blind monkey with no arms could do? for the last 3 weeks my job has consisted of placing peices of paper onto racks. that's IT. nothing else. at the sametime at my workplace there's guys that all they do all day is (with some sort of cleaning chemical) clean access (sp?) ink off of labels. i mean, holy crap! today i called in "sick" today. i feel great to be honest haha. i just really really really didn't wanna go. so i didn't. i know your probably reading this and screaming at your moniter for me to get a new job, but its a tad icky right now. i'm going to australia for 2 weeks in march, so i don't wanna get a new job and then ask for 2 weeks off right off the bat y'know? but if its fine with the new workplace, than right on. but do you ever feel so low, so lame, so out of step, so lost, so empty..... that you almost start to like it? and you just do absolutly nothing about it? and just accept it as maybe who you are?

i had a dream the other night:

bob came home in may and him, myself and mike re-united above defeat for a 'reunion' tour with a crow's glory. tyler filled in on drums instead of yari. we wrote another new song for the tour. we met up with fight like hell in seattle for a show, then from there we played portland, san fransisco, los angeles, san diego, las vegas and denver. from denver, us and a crow's glory went to boise, spokane, calgary, edmonton, kelowna and then wrapped up the tour in vancouver.

please don't wake me up.

ok i'm gonna rant a little bit here. i have horrible luck with women. i've gotten to a point where i just miss being around people. i mean, i'm at school a lot and work a bit and i work and go to school with cool people. but i'm just so bogged down with those two things that i really miss having someone to really lean back on y'know? this summer i was about 99% convinced i found her. i really was. she was great and she said she was into me. great! and then nothing happened. she was always "busy" or "had to do something" whenever i wanted to hang out. i had all the time in the world to get to know her. 2 months goes by and still nothing. she wasted my time. she did she did she did. so many little messages of one day we'll hang out or "i like you" or "i think your cute". dang she had me fooled. i believed it. i bought into it. ugh. she knew i was lonely as heck. i just can't stop seeing her cuz she goes to every show i go to. i saw her tonite. she looked real good. does she know what she's doing/done? i can garuntee that someone that knows her will probably get her to read this. go ahead make my day! do it! and while your at it, tell her to go ahead and move on to her 'boy-toy' of the month guy friend and screw with his mind and promise him stuff and then kick him to the curb without even telling him. why do i even bother with this kind of crap? this is the 4th time this has happened to me. this world/women have a cruel sense of humour. seriously, its just so pathetic. guh. i'm through with it. i hope she's happy the way she's leading her life. using random people as her stepping stones to reach a higher ranking of udder meaninglessness (whoa long word). ok i think that should about do it. cut.

so i don't know if any ya'll are following the news on this hurricane that hit the louisiana/missouri area this week, but its seriously sketchy as heck. now i don't wanna sound like i know everything or anything like that, but i recall watching hurricane shows on tlc and the discovery channel back in high school and they were saying new orleans is a prime target for mass destruction caused by a hurricane. new orleans is 30 feet below sea-level i believe. i don't know if that's the exact number, but i know that the city is below sea level. and the fact that it sits on the coast of the gulf of mexico doesn't help either. cnn is saying that there are hundereds dead in the effected areas. cnn is hilarious cuz they tend to blow things out of proportion, but a lot of what they're reporting is actually realistic. it sucks for us because there are off-shore oil drillings in that area and that's obviously been shmucked up. so our gas prices are gonna go even higher. i for one can't imagine downtown vancouver 6 feet underwater. i mean, when i think of new orleans, i think of... well... new orleans! party time! mardi-gras! snoop dogg and boobies! we seem to build it up as untouchable and now look whats going on. i also want to acknowledge all those that are affected by this that don't live in new orleans. new orleans is a huge/popular city so its obviously going to recieve most of the tv coverage. however, there are so many other cities/towns/trailor parks that are affected by this that won't be recognized by the news. and one more acknowledgement i'd like to make would be to those affected by looters. i mean, you wanna get low? not just low at shows, but lower? loot. seriously now, your neighbour's house is effed up and they're trying to save/preserve what they have left and you go and rob them. WTF?! this world is doomed. man is chaos. yeah, that's my little rant for now. yeah. haha that's all i really wanted to say. rawr.

alright so last night was the Sinai Beach/Modern Life Is War/Terror/Comeback Kid show in seattle. here's my review:

Sinai Beach: they were the opening act. it was kinda weird having them (a metal band) on a bill with 3 hardcore bands, but it was pretty cool. not a lot of kids were in the venue when they played. another bummer was that they only had 1 guitar player when they NEED 2. oh well. they played all new songs but 1. here's what they played (just not in this order) "apocolypse", "obedience through desecration", "his own fate", "the god i would be", "the serpents letter" and "man or animal". i was really stoked to see sinai beach and i wasn't let down in the least bit. yay!

Modern Life Is War: never heard of these guys. they were ok. next.

Terror: holy crap. the place was packed when terror played. made me wonder where everyone came from. this was my second time seeing terror and (in my opinion) they stole the show. the kids went nuts for every song and when they played "keep your mouth shut" i counted 44 stage dives. 44! so much fun wow. they played all their good songs except for "nothing to me". so yeah, if you want a good time, go to a terror show.

Comeback Kid: clearly the band that everyone was there to see. about 40 kids left after terror played, so there was a bit more room to move around for comeback kid. these guys were tight. lots and lots and lots of sing alongs. it was an all around good time. my home-slice matt even head walked! they played a really good mix of old songs and new songs and everybody was happy (from what i could see). w00t.

so yeah, it was fun. my sympothies go to pat, alex, chris, dave and mike who did not get to see this show. i think i'm gonna need a hair cut soon. but i don't know. end.
